App Overview

Type or dictate an appointment description on the Add screen. KindKeep parses the date and title, shows a confirmation card for you to review, and saves the event to your Apple Calendar with two automatic reminders: the evening before at 8PM, and 2 hours before the appointment.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I add an appointment?

Tap the Add tab, type your appointment in the text box (for example: "Doctor on Friday at 3pm" or "Grocery run tomorrow morning"), then tap Add Appointment. Review the confirmation card and tap Save it.

Can I use voice to enter an appointment?

Yes. Tap the text box, then tap the microphone button on the iPhone keyboard. Speak your appointment naturally and iOS will transcribe it. KindKeep processes the result the same way as typed text.

Which calendar does KindKeep save to?

KindKeep saves to your iPhone's default calendar — the same one Apple Calendar uses when you create a new event. You can change your default calendar in iPhone Settings → Calendar → Default Calendar.

Will reminders fire even when the app is closed?

Yes. Reminders are set as alarms on the Apple Calendar event, so they fire through the Calendar app's notification system — not through KindKeep itself. As long as your iPhone's Calendar app can send notifications, reminders will arrive even if KindKeep is not open.

I only see two reminders, not four. Is that correct?

Yes. Apple Calendar supports at most two alarms per event. KindKeep sets the two most useful ones: the evening before at 8PM (preparation reminder) and 2 hours before the appointment (action reminder).

KindKeep misread my appointment date. What should I do?

On the confirmation card, tap Edit to return to the input screen with your original text. Correct the date wording — for example, use "this Friday" or "April 18 at 3pm" — and tap Add Appointment again to re-parse.

What languages does KindKeep support?

The app interface is available in English, Simplified Chinese (简体中文), and Traditional Chinese (繁體中文). Natural language date parsing supports English and Chinese input formats (including 今天, 明天, 下周五, 3月15日, etc.).

Does KindKeep require an account?

No. No account or login is required.

Does KindKeep work offline?

Yes. All date parsing happens on your device. No internet connection is needed to add or view appointments.

What should I include when I ask for help?

Please include your iPhone model, iOS version, the appointment text you typed, and a description of what happened vs. what you expected. Screenshots of the confirmation card are especially helpful.

Compatibility

KindKeep requires iOS 17 or later.
